Frequently Asked Questions

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a government initiative that provides funding to people with a disability and supports their families and carers. It gives participants choice and control over where, when, and how they receive their disability services.

The NDIS is currently available to those with Australian residency, under 65 years of age, who may require support from a person or equipment to do everyday activities. The NDIS is also available to children with developmental delay or a disability.

The supports NDIS can provide depend on your short- and long-term goals. The scheme funds a range of services to improve daily living, independence, social participation, and wellbeing.

NDIS plan management is the way your funding is managed. There are three options: NDIA-managed, Plan-managed (Nenos NDIS), and Self-managed. Choosing a plan manager like us removes the stress of handling finances — we’ll pay invoices on time and keep you updated on your budget.

It costs you nothing because the NDIA pays Nenos NDIS directly. Simply ensure that “Improved Life Choices” is included in your plan, and we’ll handle the rest.

Yes, you can. The NDIS promotes choice and control, meaning you’re free to move from one plan manager to another at any time.

Absolutely. One of the key benefits of using Nenos NDIS as your plan manager is that you can continue using your preferred provider — even if they are not NDIS registered — as long as they have an ABN.

Simply contact our friendly team via phone or email. We’ll guide you through the onboarding process, help you understand your plan, and set everything up so your supports start smoothly.

Currently, Nenos NDIS operates across NSW. However, we are expanding to reach more participants, and some services may be available remotely depending on your needs.

Yes, our team can support you in reviewing and understanding your existing NDIS plan, identifying areas for improvement, and helping you prepare for your plan reassessment meeting.

You will receive regular monthly statements showing your spending and remaining funds. We also notify you immediately if there are any issues or adjustments in your budget.

We pride ourselves on being a person-centred, family-focused, and transparent provider. Our approach is built on empathy, trust, and inclusion — ensuring every participant feels valued, heard, and supported at every step.
